Intoxicated Thoughts

There are days when you feel nostalgic and everything around you just slows down. So it was one such odd day with lots of things going wrong, until I decided to pen down my emotions! 

While returning from hooked up, I looked up and found the sky reddish brown,

Mates thought, am in the mood of playing, but I was high and down.

Never expected her to see how I feel for her because I know "Love" is just an abstract noun.

Damn! Smoked cigarette and Hookah together and it choked,

I didn't want to try it, but the intensity of existing pain provoked.

No sooner did I made clouds of smoke than it disappeared due to blowing air of AC,

Frustrated enough, I ordered a Bacardi so that she might see,

That the soreness is intense and tonight I'm gonna lose all my sense.

But Alcohol doesn't work when heart acts as a jerk,

Used and Paid! Yes, you heard exactly what I said!

Used by people during their leisure,

For them, it was just a pleasure.

Maybe Because who paid after being used was my heart,

It hurts when it beats, Lungs are full of dirt.

My heart is ignited and smoke runs in my veins,

So am scared to step out of the hood when it rains.

There is no more a flood of blood in my main nerve,

I had donated it to people deserved, so that the empty place in the veins can be reserved,
For the smoke, I want to preserve.

I express myself in words to feel good,

But going through it makes people judge my mood.

Some say "You're too rude!"

I respect their words and don't mind, 
Because it’s known that all planets are not the same size or kind.

Someday I'll leave Earth without needing a spaceship,

And in a way that won't make the people weep.

You may hold a rose and visit the graveyard in search of me,

I would welcome you to my grave and let you sit on your knee.

Wishing that you'll let the rose slip,
while you come closer to kiss my cheek,
with your rosy lip,

And utter RIP!
